Exchanges and Returns At photo-prophecy.com,
we'd like to help you resolve a purchase problem as quickly
and easily as possible. Provided you meet the terms and
conditions listed below, you may make an exchange or return.
Please note that not all items are covered by our returns
policy. Before you make your purchase read the complete
returns policy information.
If you feel that any item you have purchased from Photo Prophecy
is not in the condition it was described, contact us first by email,
and we'll respond as to how to obtain a refund, replacement or
credit.
All orders are custom printed and mounted, taking one to two weeks
before shipment is made.
General Policies
Shipping charges are non-refundable. All exchanges and
returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
Please call the Photo Prophecy Customer Support Number,
828-335-7939 to obtain an RMA number ( Exchanges and credits
cannot be processed without one.) Please note: opened merchandise is
subject to a 15% restocking fee. An RMA must be requested
within 1 day of arrival date of the merchandise (proof of delivery
is required). Thereafter, all sales are final. The returned
package must be received within 10 business days of the RMA issued
date. When returning product, we insist the use of a carrier
that can track packages. You also assume responsibility for insuring
the returned item. All items must be returned in “as new”
condition in the original packaging.
Returns Policy
It is understood that
the purchaser is buying these items "AS IS." Photo
Prophecy makes every effort to provide accurate descriptions of the
items we sell. Most often, our items are in better condition than we
describe them.
Please note that each image size (5x7,
8.5x11, 11x14, 13x19 and 17"x25") have different proportions.
This will necessitate the cropping of image to fit the image
size ordered. Only small cropping of the outer edges
will be made to accommodate the image size.
There are, however,
always cases in which a refund is necessary, such as damage during
shipping, and we maintain the following policies:
1. Refunds will be
provided in the case of a material misstatement or misrepresentation
in our description and/or display of item or damage during shipping
ONLY. Shipping costs include insurance and confirmation
of delivery. If the product is damaged in shipment, the
shipment carrier will have to approve of and pay for damages through
insurance.
2. The item must be
returned to Photo Prophecy at buyer's expense within 10 days of
purchase at buyer's expense.
3. Photo Prophecy will
send refund via check, for cost of item within 30 days.
4. While we strive to
offer the best in customer service, we will NOT provide refunds for
any of the following reasons: Item lost in mail (this is a common
scam, and considering both our accuracy - we keep detailed records
of every transaction - and the overall performance of the post
office or our preferred carriers, we have NEVER had an item lost in
transit); general dissatisfaction not related to description of
item; your dog, cat, snake, kids, etc. chewed on the item; the item
is not what you expected it to be; and any other reason that people
may come up with.
If a return is granted,
the buyer will ship the item back to Photo Prophecy within 3 days of
the acknowledgement:
The item must be returned via the original carrier (unless agreed
otherwise in writing), in its original packaging, insured (if
available) for its purchased price, and must be received in the same
condition as when it was shipped to you with the Photo Prophecy
packaging.
We insist the buyer use delivery tracking and get a delivery
receipt.
The buyer pays for return shipping and insurance, unless agreed
otherwise between the buyer and Photo Prophecy.
Order Acceptance
photo-prophecy.com reserves the right to, at any time, after
receipt of any order, from any customer, and without prior notice,
supply less than the quantity ordered of any item or to cancel an
order, only charging for what is actually shipped.
Shipping
All orders are custom printed and mounted, taking one to two weeks
before shipment is made. Any change in an order will require
approval from Photo Prophecy and the change could require an
additional fee.
Payment
Photo Prophecy.com accepts only credit card, PayPal and cashier's
checks as formal methods of payment. Sorry, no personal checks
accepted. If an order is placed via email, Photo Prophecy will
respond with a mailing address for cashier’s check mailing.
Printing and mounting process will begin once the check is received
and cleared.
Once payment is received, order information cannot be modified.

Product Specification
All products specification and requirements are subject to
change without prior notice.
Overseas Orders
Billing address must match billing address of credit card.
Overseas orders will not be shipped to an address other than the
billing address. Please allow an extra 3-5 days for verification
purposes prior to shipping.
All items entering a foreign country are subject to customs
inspection and the assessment of duties and taxes in accordance with
that country's national laws. Customs duties and taxes are assessed,
generally, if the merchandise is dutiable and the value of the item
is above the threshold set by the country's laws. If duties and
taxes are assessed on an item mailed via the Postal Service, they
are collected from the recipient. In addition, for most countries,
there is an administrative fee that is collected from the recipient
to cover the costs of clearing the item through customs and
collecting duties and taxes. For instance, the administrative fee in
the United Kingdom is 6.50 British pounds for airmail parcels and
11.25 British pounds for Global Express Mail; in 23 countries in
Europe (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Monaco, Germany,
Greece, Ireland, Italy, San Marion, Vatican City, Luxembourg, Malta,
Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Adorra, Gilbratar, Sweden,
Switzerland, and Liechtenstein) the administrative fee is 17 Euros
for Global Express Mail and Global Airmail Parcel Post; and the
administrative fee in Canada is $5 Canadian for Global Airmail
Parcel Post. Business mailers have the option to pay the duties,
taxes or fees to certain countries through an International
Customized Mail Agreement.
If you want to learn what the threshold for duties and taxes is
for a particular country, you can go to the Web site of that
country's customs service.

Black & White Photography
Image Size Option:
All
images are listed and priced at the base size of 5" x 7" or $38.00.
This price includes the Image with a museum grade mat board and
foam
backing but does not include an optional wood frame. Purchaser can select an
Image size larger by clicking on Image
Size pull down with appropriate add on costs as listed below. The pull down
offers all available sizes with or without the wood Frame option.
All images include a 4 ply Museum-quality (Acid Free) white rag Mat
Board with opening cut at 45 degrees with an acid free foam backing.
Image is mounted with mat board and backing taped together at top.
Wood Frame Option: A wood frame is
optional at an additional cost. The wood frame is painted
solid
black with smooth finish including standard acrylic 1/10" thick. Standard Acrylic -
High quality framing grade acrylic. More optically pure and lighter
weight than glass. Image with mat/baking is mounted in frame
and sealed in back with tape.

Matte Finish
- The
Photo Prophecy
print paper standard is a 100% white cotton rag, acid free archival
fine art paper which will maximize print quality and archival
properties in the image.
Smooth Pearl Finish
- A semi gloss smooth pearl finish paper is optional but has lesser
archival properties compared to the above matte finish cotton rag
paper.

Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are not refundable. UPS and USPS shipping
charges are calculated and included in your order. A handling
charge is also included that is for shipping insurance and
confirmations. If product is damaged during shipment, the
buyer must get approval from the shipper for insurance payoff.

Printing - Photo
Prophecy use the Epson
Stylus® Photo R2400 printer with UltraChrome K3 Ink Technology to
create museum quality archival photographs. See below "Photo
Prophecy Print Technology" for more information.
Print Paper - The
Photo Prophecy print paper standard is a 100% cotton rag, acid free
archival fine art paper which will maximize print quality and
archival properties in the photograph. A smooth pearl finish
paper is optional but has lesser archival properties compared to the
cotton rag paper. Glossy paper is optional at extra cost but
not recommended as image quality and archival qualities are not
optimal. Please call for price on a glossy paper request.
Museum Mat Board

Photo Prophecy uses soft White 4 ply
premium museum cotton rag mat that provides optimum archival quality
protection for fine works of art on paper. Virtually all
museums and libraries use cotton rag mat board to exhibit and
conserve treasured manuscripts, documents and works of art.

Mounting & Backing Boards

Buffered
acid-free foam. Papers are high quality alpha-cellulose virgin
pulp, white on both sides, lignin-free and are constantly tested to
maintain conservation standards.
